What To Expect

We are glad that you are considering worshipping with us!  As Christians, we gather to worship the Lord; learn practical life-lessons from His Word; teach, learn, and encourage one another.  What better way to start off your week than with some fellowship and restoration!

What should you expect on Sunday?

We hope when you come into our building, you'll immediately feel comfortable as you encounter a very friendly group of brothers and sisters in Christ, all with a "like-minded" faith.  We want to make your visit as comfortable and encouraging as possible.

Each Sunday you will notice several things (please click the links to learn more):

  • Singing - You will notice that we sing without instruments.  In unity, we lift our voices in praise to God as the Church in the New Testament did.

  • Prayers - We believe prayer to be very important.  Those leading the congregation in prayer will lead our thoughts in praising and thanking God, asking for His forgiveness and seeking His help, guidance and encouragement for our members, our community, and the world.  We open services with a word of prayer, we have a main prayer after the singing, and we close services with a prayer.

  • Lord’s Supper - Every Sunday as Christians, we partake of the Lord’s Supper, (also known as "The Communion") in remembrance of our Lord’s sacrifice on the cross.

  • Preaching - We always offer a Bible-based sermon for the purpose of building up our faith, encouraging our spirits, and informing our minds so that we can all be better equipped to live out the Lord’s call for our lives in the world.  Over the years we have covered the Bible from cover to cover and we're in the process of doing it again!

  • Offering - Every Sunday, we take up an offering to allow our members to contribute to the work of the church.  We do not expect or ask for any of our visitors to give.  We do not want you to feel any pressure.  It's no one's business (especially not ours) what or how much you give.  That's between you and the Lord.  The work of the church is done by our members in their own daily walk and their respective communities, but we to take up an offering to fund our local ministries, help our members in need, foreign missions, benevolence, and our many other works of service for the glory of God.

In everything we do we strive to follow the guidance of the Lord through His Word.

How should I dress?  Modesty is the best policy.  We feel one should always dress as if they are in the presence of God, because in all reality, are you not?
